About Our Venue

The College Coffeehouse (CCH) is a comfortable, laid back, family friendly, smoke and alcohol free venue that features a wide variety of entertainment from the Fairbanks area.

We cater primarily to local artists who are looking to introduce their talent or just to have a place to perform for fun. We occasionally book professional entertainers, but locals are given priority.

Our venue will comfortably seat 45 at tables but can be expanded to 70 with row style seating with a maximum occupancy of 80.

We are equipped with a small stage and an 8 channel Peavey system, including two 15 inch main speakers and one monitor. We also have several microphones, mic stands and cords.

Booking Guidelines

All genres of music and styles of performance are welcome including dance, poetry readings, art showings, book readings, comedy, and fund raisers.

We are open to book events 7 nights a week although some nights are reserved for regularly occurring events. We occasionally book shows during the daySaturday and Sunday.

Shows usually start between 7 pm and 8 pm and must be over by 10:15 pm unless otherwise agreedin advance.

We do not tolerate audience or performers using alcohol or drugs, aggressive behavior, or events with excessive inappropriate and offensive language.

The event organizer is responsible for collecting the cover charge. We can provide a door person upon request for a $10/hr fee.

The event will receive 100% of the cover.

Events charging a cover must limit the door collection to 1 1/2 hours after the show starts.  After that, regular CCH customers will be free to enter without being charged.

We have an open door policy for all covered events. This means that customers can purchase takeout during the event without paying a cover charge as long as they leave immediately after the purchase.
